Mach 1 R? Was there every such a thing? I wouldn't put the "Turbo" script on a regular 911 and wouldn't put the Mach 1 R decal on a regular Mustang.

To each their own.

I guess PP2 wouldn't look as cool on the side?

I added these to my PP2 "Mach 1 R"..lol And although I do not like fake stuff I THOUGHT these might look cool...I am kinda regretting putting them on. They look okay at this angle but NOT from the side.. If I take them off, I'm going to jack up the clear bra I had put over the sides of the car....just a small piece I guess...not like the like the whole door. So should they stay or should they go?

I think a proper side shot would be valuable - I thought they looked pretty good and went well with what you were doing with the rest of the car, but it's hard to get a feel for the whole car standing next to it in the garage. Plus, those awesome hyper silver wheels deserve a showcase of their own...

the pp2 spec car is fine as a daily as long as you swap the tires/wheels.

Im running blizzaks and took her to a snowboarding trip and had zero issues.

Even managed to crawl up a hill that numerous 4x4/AWD suv's were getting stuck on.

People vastly underestimate the importance of winter tires.
after getting stuck on a tiny little incline in my driveway with barely any snow on it with 325/30 PS4S tires...i know this all too well. what size wheels/tires do you have?

Daily driven Canadian PP2. Good set of snow tires makes this car easy to drive in the snow as long as you don't drive like it's Summer outside.

Okay Guys....I have put a lot of new things on my car....but the best improvement to date is the full steeda stop the hop kit !! The car handles 5 times better than before. It even feels better going over bumps and stops some of the tramming on the streets. When you accelerate it does not squat down and lean to the right in the back. It JUST goes. Its feels like traction bars were installed. I had a hard time even spinning the wheels. I love it. I can not get over how solid it feels. Dallas Mustang said they have done a lot of GT350's if you are in the area..give them a call.

Sounds good. Which kit did you get?

@IronG start here.

The complete kit is completely unnecessary unless you're making 700+ RWHP and going to the drag strip fully prepped with slicks and skinnies.
Thanks for the info. I probably should have just asked the following question first and avoided the "version" of the kit confusion....I won't be dragging the car at all, but will be doing track days (7-10 weekends a year) so enhancing the drivability on a track would be the goal. I also have no plans for greatly improving the HP/TQ as well.

So with that said, would the starter kit or the enthusiast kit be the one to go for?

Have you driven the car on the track stock? That will give you a good idea of what you will need to change. The car is very capable stock.

Good point. I will be at the track hopefully in May and will evaluate it then. I hope I don't need to make any changes if not needed. This option looked interesting though.

Hey everyone,
New to the forum, from Toronto CAN - Just recently took delivery of a 2019 GT Premium Perf Pack Level 2 - Details all in my Sig. For those who have the time, nothing else better to do, and any minor inclination to read my "story", here's a summary of it. I'll try to keep it "brief..."

Just wanted to say that, before I even got this car and took delivery - last year, I was "forum cruising" and came across this specific thread, and bookmarked it, not knowing that I would ever get one myself. I loved how it almost started off with Infidex and his story, and how he was the first ever in the U.S. to take delivery of a PPL2 car. I knew I always wanted a Mustang since the S550's were introduced back in late 2014, since they switched the rear to IRS. I've always been a suspension guy, and an "overall balanced car" guy. I've had other cars, but 2 previous cars ago, it was a 2005 Altima SE-R, 3.5VQ V6 with a 6 Speed manual and 260hp stock at the flywheel. (These cars are really rare, for those who have not heard of them or seen one in real life). I drove this for almost 7 years, and drove it to the moon and back. When these cars were new, I was in High School. I always thought it was pretty rabid for relatively sedate import family sedan to be like what the SE-R was. I found one while I was in college - a little rough, but spent a lot bringing it back to its former glory, and them some. THIS was my baby, my escape, my therapy. Loved the car. I never thought I would sell it, I spent so much on that car (you all know how it is...) and pictured keeping it for life. and with 350k km, it looked mint. Some people who don't know cars (various coworkers, acquaintances, etc.) always asked when I got a "new" car lol. Unfortunately - or fortunately, depending on how you look at it - I had to part ways, because it was costing me too much in repairs and with emissions testing we have to do up here, and CEL's on, it didn't look good. I wanted to actually keep it as a winter car, but insurance for 2 cars made it impossible. I made the executive decision to post it to sell, and I was astounded by the demand for the car. For those familiar somewhat with Ontario cities, guys from Kingston, to Windsor and many locally were all over it. I could have had a bidding war, but in the end, sold it to a great guy who beat cancer - He went to the Toronto Auto Show back in 2005 and he said he wanted it when he saw it there new, but for reasons, he couldn't. Then he saw my ad, more than a decade later. I told him, "You're a patient son of gun" lol.

Anyway, I sold it and the plan was to get a lightly used 2017 GT Premium. I ended up buying one, in March 2018 - Shadow Black with Over-the-Top Factory Silver fade-out stripes, Perf Pack Level 1, Recaros, Shaker Pro, 6 Speed Manual. Then, fast forward 6 or so months, and I see a PPL2 car listed for sale on AutoTrader at one of the local dealers. See, if I knew the PPL2 cars were coming to Canada, I would have waited, but there was no indication that they were. For you guys in the U.S., you started having them as 2018MY cars. We didn't, so I assumed they weren't coming. Obviously, I was wrong. My original plan was to just get the wheels and put them on my 17. Then, when I saw the first 2019MY cars show up on lots here locally, this is when the PPL2s started to appear... I fought with myself for a bit, and debated on whether or not I should pull the trigger. Fast forward a bit, I decided to walk in to the dealer, and just see... Talk numbers, you know... You all how it is... You know the rest...

So, that's a real brief (as much as I could) story. I've always had a thing for rare and lower production volume cars, so couple that with the PPL2's features and every other reason why you guys also love 'em, and I couldn't resist.

Thanks!
