Appreciate the info/insight........You are probably correct with getting the starter kit to start off with. I have done extensive suspension/chassis mods to my GTI 337 for track use. The compromise is ride quality which I was ok with on the GTI as it would be primarily a track car. The Mustang will be tracked, but I also intend to drive it occasionally on real roads so my lean on this build is to retain more on street driving than all out track. I am hoping to not need to make many changes.

Sure thing, remember, stiffer does not always mean better.

Whatever dude I am throwing most of the steeda catalogue on my base model come Monday ......or rather Steeda is throwing it on .
It's not a whatever, it's how it works. But if you feel the need to go full lockout then do it. Obviously I'm not going to nor can I stop you. But saying to someone who's asking for starting tips to go full load is rather wasteful/unrealistic. It's a progression.

Would you tell a beginner drag racer to hop into a Unlimited Outlaw class car simply because it's the best equipped?

Fair enough. I did parts of the beginner kit and wanted more.

Perhap the word FULL for the kit was wrong..."Ultimate" I guess would have been better ( I did not know they sold them like that) I bought all the "parts they sold for" stop the hop was "ala carte". I was worried that it would screw up the already firm, taunt ride and jumpelly handling. (not a word but you get my meaning..lol) However, the good news is that it made it ride better. It's not so jittery ( probably not a word again..lol) but if you drive a PP2 you know what I mean. Has it stopped it 100%? no. I laid a dual patch about 3 cars lengths after I got it aligned and still felt a little. I will say spinning the wheels with traction control on made it feel worst. But all in all just hard acceleration feel better and more control now. I hate to say this and will regret it but dare I say it feels like a new Corvette. (let the hate begin.lol)

Oh...well Im not sure how hard you "ragged the car" you drove...but as I said at the beginning of all this. When you "floor it" in 1st gear in a roll even..PP2 owners will tell you the back wheels will hop. And the Steeda Stop the hop kit I highly recommend to my fellow PP2 owners. Another thing I did to track the car with confidence was to add the "Full tilt boogie racing" Rear diff cooler...pump and all not just air cooled

Is that rear diff cooling fan a factory installed part on the PP2 or did you install it?

So picked her up on Saturday and busy couple days but i have a few shots. I'm amazed with just how low it actually sits and the stance is incredible in person. The clearance even pulling into my driveway is ridiculously tight. Not sure how well that chin spoiler is going to hold up. I'm also not a huge fan of the spoiler. I feel like they could have gotten a little more aggressive without getting gaudy but I have nothing but time to enhance.:headbang: Already looking for replacement tires as the SC2's aren't going to last long

Wow congratulations! Beautiful car. The front is really low and looks properly aggressive. I agree that the rear spoiler, albeit very nice, it does not match the intensity of the front. Quick fix if you decide to. Beautiful car, love the Magnetic!

Anybody ever seen Kona Blue with the red Recaros? A local Infiniti dealer had a dark blue Q60S with red interior and it surprisingly looked really good. Car was there for maybe only 3 days and sold.

The most hated and cheap looking interior on a Fox Body was the red; it was the least desirable by far. Funny how things change.

HAHA that's the sole reason I have a hard time with the red offering now. Although it looks a thousand times better than the Fox offering.

My first car, a 86, had the silly Porno red interior. Looked awful and aged about the same. Perhaps slightly better than the blue offered but not by much.

The red in the current offering looks really good though. I'd rather have the black with blue piping personally but the red does grab your eye.

the difference is that the fox's had EVERYTHING red. these are just the top surfaces of the seats and a little on the door. it's tasteful touches, not a spilled paint can of red.
