6db is about 50% more perceived volume. No thanks.
That's probably extremely close to the car though. Further away the intensity is less noticeable. However, I would never recommend Heartthrob products either...

Ordered a Steeda 304SS H-pipe. $103.96 with their Black Friday pricing. Wow! I'm going to get a dyno bone stock and then after the H-pipe just to see the torque curve. Oh, crap. A base dyno and then.... And, I had convinced myself I was going to leave this one stock. Damn mod bugs are biting again.

I Installed the H-Pipe in my 2018 GT Premium. The exhaust mode was in Normal in the clip, in Track Mode sounds like a beast.

So I ended up throwing a stainless roush hpipe on it..... honestly... kinda ruined the car for me. Quiet is still quiet enough... normal sounds like stock but a bit louder and with a lot more rasp... sport and track are... borderline deafining under any sort of load. Wife is going to hate me for it, but i'll be looking at other options or maybe even putting the stocker back.

It achieved the louder goal, but imo not a great way.

X on the stock mufflers was a bit too tinny for me. Needed more volume and different tone but like @brucelinc said Everyone's tastes are different....

Apparently it makes a difference where the crossover is placed and/or how much exhaust goes into the crossover. The Steeda version isn't raspy at all. I would only use track mode at the dragstrip or on back roads where I wouldn't attract attention but I wouldn't call it deafening. It is a deeper tone than stock...sort of like adding more bass to your favorite music.

I am probably gonna order the tru-x resonated midpipe... but maybe before I do, I'll get some videos... I'll have to go away from my house tho... I'm not exaggerating... Getting on the fwy with concrete barrier on the side with a windows down literally hurts my ears...

I think I'd be happy leaving it at "normal" except the way the active exhaust works, it sounds real weird. I'm going back to a resonated pipe or maybe even back to stock.

I have the stock active exhaust with just the Lethal Performance H-pipe and I think it sounds great! Nice rumble, some pops and crackle on decel, most importantly: no rasp! Quiet is still stock quiet while normal, sport, and track are a little louder but definitely a lower richer tone with no drone.

I am not sure what the gain would be over the stock resonator. They are also straight through with perforations.

The valves are on the muflers AFAIK, the stock active exhaust mufflers sound really good.

The stock resonator afaik is not at all a straight through... my hope is that this midpipe will get rid of some of the rasp, but still be a bit louder than the stocker. In reviews, people have said it was a little louder than the stocker and removed all the rasp.

WOT with this hpipe sounds good from inside car... but outside it sounds like stuff isnt hooked up right, or like I'm driving around with literally cat back straight pipe exhaust.
