Installed the 2018 intake manifold and PBD tune yesterday! When people say it feels like a new car now I know what they mean, so much fun to drive. Also used a dremel to cut out the MAF inlet tube on my Airaid intake to make the opening larger and give more airflow (the tune accounted for that). Still gotta datalog for any revisions, but loving it so far! BTW, new intake isn't ported yet.

Ran into 4 CEL codes this morning when I started it up, all have to do with the IRMCs it looks like. I locked them out, will have to let PBD know

Went to Lake Cuyamaca Restaurant and Store for lunch. I had a Chef's Salad and French Fries, my wife had the Turkey Burger with potato salad. We ate on the balcony overlooking the lake. Little dog was welcome to romp around our feet, and was joined by a medium-size dog and a pretty big one. Ambient was 55 degrees. Very, very nice.

Oh, yeah. The restaurant is at the side of California Highway 79, that runs northish from US I-8, and if you'll search google maps for Cuyamaca Lake and choose "Satellite", you'll be able to zoom in on '79 to see what the real attraction was. The highway has recently been completely repaved and repainted, double yellow lines and tire-buzzers in the center, white lines along the edges. Flawlessly smooth. You get going on this section and it begins to look concise and contrasty like a video game. A couple of 15-MPH hairpins, mostly 40-50MPH I-dare-you curves, a few 100-MPH stretches that I stuck to the 55-MPH speed limit. Wife says the mountain and meadow scenery is well above standard, as well.

All-in-all, a very pleasing and satisfying three hours away from home.

Anyone else actually starting to like the new front A LOT?
It has grown on me. I still don't care for the big vents in the bottom corners. I think a splitter or something in the middle of those big vents would help. I've seen a couple of cars with blacked out vents that looked cool.
