running a kit now finishing up tune with lund have opg and tg in a box and debating if i should install them i see allot of you guys with them and alot without i know its a gamble not to put them in but chime in and give me thoughts
cheap? maybe the part. The labor is not that cheap, unless you are installing it yourself. You do have to take the oil pan out on the 2018 or almost. But do agree if you got them might as well. But that problem seem to be a more prevalent on the 2011-2014 gt's. Not saying that it doesn't happens on the newer ones! before the forum police jumps in, but not to many cases documented on this forums on the 2015 and up.
Also I would have to trust the tech that is doing work, there is a lot of potential for a leak to develop if the tech working on the car is not careful.
Cool , when you have a trustworthy tech it helps with the piece of mind, and also just saw that yours is a 2017 so even better hope you enjoy that boost... I had a 2017 with a procharger stage II P1sc head 6 speed as well. Get ready for a wild ride! and get a steady supply of rear tires lol.
I didn't do mine with whipple stage 2. I have yet to see whipple say anything on the forum about having to do it. If I recall, I don't believe any of their shop cars have it done either.
its hit and miss from what ive seen just like have car insurance u dont want to pay for it but your glad u have it
and ifi hit rev limitor i will be glad
Insurance. You'll probably never need it as they probably wont break, but if they do you'll wish you did it as it will cost you your motor and the "insurance" was a fraction of that cost.
