Have my newly arrived Stage II Procharger with P1X. Supplied head unit pulley is 4.75.

My goal is 650 +/- to the rear wheels. No fuel system upgrades come with the kit, as expected. I have some brand new 56# injectors and a new boost a pump. Obviously Procharger feels the stock Gen 3, 2018 fuel system will safely supply the necessary fuel to support the 4.75 pulley.

Question is will the 4.75 pulley get me to my HP goals? I plan on using the supplied tune to get it running, then have it remoted tuned by Lund. I have 93 octane available everywhere here, but no E85 anywhere in my region.

I have no doubt adding 250 HP or so will be more than enough for me since I am actually pretty satisfied with the stock output. I have no plans to go beyond 650whp.

I had Procharger tune with 4.75 pulley and was in the 600whp range, car was all stock. Now with headers, injectors and bap, 4.5 pulley and Lund tune car is at 680whp.

Gregory347,

That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for. What # injectors did you use?

ID1050x as recommended by Lund. I would just go Lund tune from the beginning.

Your 56# injectors are fine for your goals. Unless you just want new ones

Injectors are brand new.

Working with Lund at the moment, they have been excellent so far.

Those injectors are overkill on an 18 up at that power level. Even 47# would be plenty for 650RW on gas. I opted for 95#/1000cc injectors for my 850RW E85 build.

I'm a little out of the know what exactly is bap, sorry but if I don't ask I'll never know. Thanks in advance for any answer

I have a Procharger D1x, it came with a 4.88 pulley, that's still on it. It makes 12lbs of boost & 750 Whp with 1050x injectors. I use 93 octane pump gas and some Lucas octane booster in every tankful. You will need a bigger injector to make SAE smoothing 650 whp.

BAP is short for boost a pump. Increases voltage to fuel pump and as a result increases output of the pump

yup. It’s a way to make a pump do a lot more work then intended. I here that the ones that increase voltage all the time are hard on the pump and cause failures a lot. Can’t say for sure as I don’t use them. I just upgrade the pump
