Kudos... these look really well done and are a huge upgrade over the stock. I cringe every time I look at my stock ones.

Were you able to take the part that you painted off without having to bleed the brake lines?

I'd prefer to work on a work bench with all four laid out in front of me as opposed to on a bucket one at a time.

Recommendations for paint brand? Primer and clear coat before and after the color?

I leave the calipers on the car and go back and forth to my work bench until I get the fitment just right. Then sand and paint the covers on or near my work bench. I have always used wheel or engine paint for the color and clear wheel paint for the top coat. So far each job I have done has lasted longer then my taste in color,( about 3 to 4 years), without fade or chip/peeling. Also if you look at the pics you can see that I can remove the rear brake pads without even pulling off the covers. They will com off with the center part of the caliper.
