Did you go the route of removing the plastic buffer piece in there and rout out a hole for the peg? Or did you remove it completely? Does it feel like it flexes at all?

I've been toying with the idea of either painting the mesh in the Cervini's grille, or sanding down and painting the ABS components. Has anyone done this before and have some pictures? Cheers!

Can anyone recommend what diameter of Quick-Latch's to get? 1.0" 1.25" 1.5" Obviously the smaller, the better, visually. But does a larger diameter required for a good hold?

Cervini's front grilles are absolute stunners and change the fronts of the S550's so much.
