I thought they had stated that a while ago.

One or two people mentioned it but when I asked Carl about it at the reveal in Detroit he said all the unique sound came from the intake and intake manifold. Maybe it was a late addition or he just didn't want to tell me? Either way I'm excited to hear it confirmed now.

Indeed!

That's one of the main reasons why I'd get the Bullitt over a regular Mustang GT: the unique sound.

I believe I heard that previously from a walkaround video so it's cool to hear it repeated here. I believe it is to give it more "burble" when coming off the throttle.

Ordered a Bullitt in Jan. 2018 my dealer thinks that the car may arrive in early July. Does anybody have any date of delivery? Has Ford even started building Bullitt cars yet? I can't believe it but I am as anxious as a teenager over this car.

Ordering didn't open at Ford for Bullitts until late March. 2019 production starts the week of June 18th, so best case scenario if your car gets built in the first week I'd guess that you'd have it mid-late July. If you lived closer to the factory it would be a week or two sooner.

Ford switched over to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S starting with the 2018 Performance Package 1 cars, and the Bullitt gets them too.
