I would say IF the car weighed 3900ish lbs (300 less than demon) And made something over 800 horse power it would be possible but that’s contrary to everything sources have been telling us.
I don’t know... the ZR1 weighs 3500’s and have 755HP and still it makes 10.6s with stock tires.

And yup, that’s nothing similar to what our sources have been telling us. Honestly if it makes 11 flat or high 10’s with stock tires (while running ZL1 times around track), I’d be pleased.

Auto ZR1 weighs about 3600, that big wing is also showing already it’s affecting traps speeds. That’s true. May be a new special R compound tire? That DCT might help set a unique launching system as well? But like you I don’t see it.

what would you guys think if it has already ran 9.7 at 139? ..asking for a friend..
You really have to ask? Ask the new Catfish owners and let them give you the negative answers.
Us? I think we're ready...

If it did that time in factory spec then I would say Ford meant
800++hp, or, they're going to grossly understate the power figure. We don't know what Predator's capable of...

Responding for a friend.

Compare the small exhaust tips shown in post 2388 of page 160 in the GT500 Mustang New Spy Video thread to the large exhaust tips in this thread.

9.7@139 AND be a worthy track car?

Two scenarios:

1) Nothing more than just speculative lies

2) The fastest, most powerful AND balanced mustang ever (by an unimaginable level).

A car with #2 would cost over 100grand. Haha good luck. Let’s be realistic. The mustang would be the only model to be able to quadruple its base price.

Two separate models, more plausible.

It'll be very fast in a straight line, but all those brakes and cooling aren't for the drag strip...

The option in red.

As you said, let's be realistic.... How could a "track focused Mustang" do basically the same time than the "Dragstrip focused" Dodge Demon AND STILL have "ZL1-Like performance" at the track? No way.

In my opinion it will be in the same ballpark than the Z06 in straight line performance and very close around track. Stock with street tires I'm betting it would barely hit the 10's.... (which is great btw).

I call BS on that time, maybe they got messed up and they were talking about the Demon. A lot of people despise the fact that the GT500 NOW will be a track focused car and they are hoping and "waiting" for a "Demon-Slayer"..... they'll be really disappointed even when the GT500 will be a great performer in other areas.

Most likely those are "for test purposes only" since that's still a test-mule (not a prototype like the new ones).

I love how all the sudden everyone is a specialist and a quality discounter.

The car is going to do a host of things well... sub-10 second quarters?... sub-7.15 gring times?... 2 seats... 4 seats... proving Einstein’s theory at 88mph?

Hell, it’s ALL speculation right now. Smh.
