Beware of idiots
The actual weight is 68#Watson racing states their roll bar is about 73 lbs shipping weight. It also uses ford factory mount points. This is probably what they’re using, as I’ve heard ford uses Watson cages.

I don’t think they will reveal it until December and they will sell a couple of units as a 2019.75MY (if it happens to be a 2019)... if not, it might be a early 2020MY going on sale by spring next year.If ford plans to have this thing as a ‘19, when is technically the latest for a reveal? I’m thinking August. Orders right in sept and deliveries end of nov/ dec?
That essentially puts us at 3-4 months.
I feel this is plausible as the non-R 500 has PS4S (or equivalent) and won’t need to adhere to the Cup2 temperature restrictions. Although didn’t FP shutdown regular 350 builds this last winter too? Wonder if was for retooling.
Oh you know what for some reason I was thinking 2018.I don’t think they will reveal it until December and they will sell a couple of units as a 2019.75MY (if it happens to be a 2019)... if not, it might be a early 2020MY going on sale by spring next year.
That was on the '68-'70 convertibles. On the fastbacks that would have been pretty useless.I'm pretty sure those were for mounting surf boards, there are even loops to tie down the board
That hood is glorious. :love:Footage from back in April caught by a truck driver.
