Ordered a bunch of parts! First round of mods since I bought the car, got my parts coming from Steeda since they had a good sale going over the weekend:

- Min drop springs to go on the Ford Performance Track shocks/struts I picked up last month
- Subframe alignment kit and bushing supports
- Differential bushing support system
- Billet rear shock mounts

Going to be getting the BMR hollow sway bars and end links soon as well I hope. Going to be real nice to get this thing riding good and stop the bounciness.
We appreciate the support & shout - you can complete the package with the Steeda swaybar :)

Our press-fit welded billet ends are far stronger than stamping the end of the bar. Billet machining construction of the sway bar ends makes for far greater strength for a bulletproof sway bar!

Hit me up if I can help with pricing.

Started and finished the Brembo conversion. Bleed went well. Break in went well. Seems to be working.

Notice any difference over the 14" brakes? What pads did you go with?

I ordered my wheels last night. :ninja:
Definitely more bite between the Power Stop Z26 pads, larger rotors, and 6 piston calipers. Sucker will stop quick now not that the stock brakes were bad but these are better.

LOL. All about the angles. I was using that to sit the old caliper on while test fitting the new stuff prior to taking the brake line off. It does look like it's supporting something but in reality it is just sitting there.

So, yesterday and today I put some parts on the 2015 Guard Green:

Ford Performance Anti-Sway Bars
Ford Performance Borla Touring mufflers
rear wheel spacers

So, these are the mods I did. Here is my feedback on installation and experience driving the car afterwards.

Mufflers. Hardly any increase in idle sound. Just a bit of deeper sound. When accelerating, the sound with windows open is really nice. Deep, but no cabin drone at all. Look a bit like the stock Bullitt axle backs on the 2009 Bullitt I owned. I love the tough look along with the rear wheel spacers. Still, expensive at $720 shipped. Maybe worth it. Not sure.
First off... Nice Stang, nice mods,
In regards to the Borla Touring Axle Backs, from your discription, sounds like just what I'm after. Just Woundering if you've changed out your resonator with an X-Pipe with this sound review ? I have yet to install my Rouch X pipe, stock axle backs for now, and then want to upgrade to the Borla. And was still undesided Touring or Sport. Going by your review, I'm thinking Touring now!
Thx.

Hi. I think it is really not much different at idle. The tips are awesome and accelerating with the windows open is louder and deeper. Sounds nice, like it could be stock. No, I didn't remove the resonator. I can't stand drone which I had with several other Mustangs. No drone at all. Cruising in cabin. No increase. Accelerating with windows up in cabin a bit louder, but maybe not loud enough for some folks. From my previous cars, X pipes almost always create a raspy sound and maybe drone. I can't comment on that on the S550. If you go to AM or CJ Pony, they have exhaust video clips.

I got the same set up, just different rotors. I didn't really notice a huge difference until I was able to properly break the rotors in.

I like the z26 pads more than the stock pads. Stock pads feel like they have too much bite, whereas these you're able to modulate a little better. They still bite fantastically though when you step on the brake hard.

The instructions said the break-in procedure is critical. I was able to follow the directions to a T. So far I am impressed.

Not mine. But was near my dealer's new location and stopped in.

My wife and I have not liked any automatic transmission we ever met. But to keep an open mind, I decided to test the new 10 speed in a GT.

Didn't like it. The dealers must though. They wanted me to take one for a day to see if I changed my mind.

Yea. I couldn't find a good spot without traffic the day I finished up my brakes. Couldn't properly break them in until the next day.
