Three new non-PP GT's in a row ('12/'13/'16) and never modded any of them.

It's safe to say .01% of Mustang owners ever explore the limits of their car. So the way I see it, unless you plan to AutoX or road race, it's $$ lost.

Yup.

1%? I think you are being far too generous! I tested the limits of my 5.0 back in the day (check out the black 5.0 a few posts up) - then I climbed out the window and it looked like a banana. Total right off (but secretly fixed and sold to some dude who bragged about the deal he got on this low mileage Mustang - until he gave me a call :eyebulge: ). And that is why I don’t buy used performance cars. I also came up with this philosophy that you can’t drive your car to the limit unless you go past the limits and crash. Anyway I guess I am one of those one percenters.

Were I buying now, I'd get a non-magneride PP1 car. From what I've read, the magneride keeps adjusting and changing, and I wouldn't want my suspension doing that. I want a stead-state suspension whose reactions I can count on near the limit.

yeh I dont know if your going to be able to feel Mag-ride adjusting but you will feel it as the suspension being much better on choppy roads. I think eventually many cars will have it, someday. I have driven cars with Mag-ride, they are impressive but Im not sure that it would affect taking a car to its handling limits....might make it better.

Ill either go non-pp or pp with mag-ride.

Non-PP guys, talk to me about your cars....tell me about how you drive it, have you compared ot the PP? Did you modify it because you where not happy with it....whatever.
I agree with Lost, non-PP makes a great dd. I purposely selected a loaded GT Premium on foundry 20” wheels/summer tires. The car has plenty of grip with minimal body roll for my needs and I live near endless mountain roads.

The only 3 mods I needed (all not included w/PP) were 50% tint on all 5 windows, front plate bracket from CJ Pony (no drilling of holes in front bumper needed), and Ford Performance-Touring cat back exhaust.

I use the car as a grand touring daily driver.

Yeh as I walked up to it I was blown away....I dont know how much it was because I have not ordered mine yet...maybe this week. I expect the way I want it, premium, 401, PP1, magride, safe and smart should be about 51K, and either USAA or xPlan pricing. Not sure where that ends up.
I'm pretty sure he was asking how much it cost to rent per day.

Oh sorry, I also bought a tank of gas, fuel price was $3.45 by Hertz and in SanDiego it wasn't a bad deal at all.

Keep in mind if you go with the PP1 as a daily driver, the stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4s are not intended to be driven at or near freezing temperatures - not just when there is snow and ice. I would think in Denver that could be an issue. However you could always change to an all season tire.
I live in Denver and it's honestly not that bad. I DD my GT on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires without much problem.

2. I dont know if Iike the PP1 Spoiler - it doesnt block my view but jsut not sure about it - Does it have any real functionality?
I'm pretty sure I saw in one interview that Ford did wind tunnel test it to ensure Neutral handling. Not really sure what that means, but some thought appears to have gone in to it besides just looks.
I can't imagine it makes a huge difference though or they wouldn't let you delete it, which would be my recommendation. It's just a bit too big and gaudy for my taste.
