i have to disagree, anyone looking for an affordable track car, alot of vet owners, would go camaro because its superior performance, yea mustangs are way better for day to day living, but performance gm wins you can't argue it its been proven time and time again with the gen6
I think you're grossly overestimating how many people actually track their vehicles.
i don't think many track there car, but what i do think is people like saying my car is capable of this or that, if that wasn't the case why buy a performance car at all., not like you need to go 0 to 60 I 4 seconds and many will probably never try but they can say it can do it. so no corvette whats the next best track performance car the big 3 offer, it's camaro. ford or dodge have nothing to compete with the entire gen6 line, sucks but its the truth. I wish ford would've hooked up the gt with gt350 parts and male it more capable but they chose not to. and please don't bring up the gt500 and how it's gonna wreck stuff, there's very minimal info on it so that's beyond speculation

really cause iv got one on order from my local gm dealer based off koons pricing, it was 40650 out the door, got whatever rebates they offered ay the time and the 2k for the mustang trade pretty sure I got the order in before they upped the 1le price
You could easily get one in my area for X-plan pricing for the last month or 2, plus be able to apply any incentives during delivery. The only way to get a PP2 up to 46k without going premium+, is to have a dealer markup. Who in their right mind would pay a markup for a non-limited car?
A couple friends and coworkers own Vettes. Not a single one would ever own a Camaro. When you are in the market for a 2-seater sports car, you aren't going to settle for a fat 4-seater.

Ford isn't "LAY" to the party. Ford invented the party in 1964 and the Camaro is a cheap copy. Ford reinvented the party in 2005 and history repeated itself with GM bringing the Camaro back as a copy once again.
The GT350R and GT500 performance show what the Mustang is capable of. Performance is one data point and it's foolish to think that people buy a car based on one thing. Otherwise everyone would be buying the 700+ hp full warrantied Mustangs from that place in Ohio. Even the small percentage of people who track their cars still spend 99% of their time commuting to work or driving around town. Most people don't buy a car based on 1% of what they are going to do with it. The priority is a car that is enjoyable for the majority of what you do with it.
So they gave you a $2K incentive for owning a Mustang and trading in, and $1K for owning a Corvette? I am confused? But hey $3K off for incetntives on top of other discounts is solid.
