Who is going to tune for the 2018 Manifold?
The plan is to bolt the 18 manifold on & run it with the frpp2 tune, doing before/after dyno pulls monitoring A/F and (hopefully) knock.

Could more power be made with a custom tune? Yeah probably, but based on the dyno graphs we've seen so far it looks like the 18 manifold may make more power than the 15-17 unit even witbout a tune.

Considering the potential top end gains I think it's worth taking a whack at it for $275 (plus whatever the pigtails cost). If I don't like it I can always pop it off and resell it.

I'm hoping this works out well. I've been thinking about getting the FRPP2 before I even saw all the info on the 18 manifold.
If it wasn't for my CPO warranty I'd consider going with an aftermarket tune but at this point I'd rather not.

That will be interesting to see how that PP2 tune works for a different manifold/tb configuration since its made to work with a stock manifold and GT350 TB/CAI..

+1 for a plug and play install kit. I have the 2018 manifold sitting in a box waiting to be installed!

I'd be interested to see 18 manifold with GT350 TB. My gut is still saying go big or go home, and if I'm going for more top end without hardly any mid sacrifice, the GT350 is still a little better.

What you mean is someone stuff a Cobra Jet intake on a 2018 A10 car and let it rip!

CJ and A10 trans would be killer imo. :)

Drop the engine with lower mounts or buy a cowl hood whatever it takes. i hope someone eventually does a CJ 67mm tb PMAS header E85 combo on a 2018

gt350 TB is poop.. it doesn't make any extra power on the 15-17's even with a GT350 manifold, and causes drivability/tune issues. Even with the GT350 intake tuners suggest using the adapter plate and the GT TB.

Mine is running fine - if your tuner can't tune the GT350 TB it means you need to change your tooner.

That was the case early on before the tuners figured it out. Everything I read now is that the 350 TB is worth doing.

Shaun at AED has no problem with the GT350 TB tuning.

Nailed it. Any tuner that says a GT350 TB isn't worth doing just doesn't know how to tune for it, its not worth a lot, but its worth a few hp.
