GT premium with manual transmission, 401a, active exhaust, safe and smart pkg. Royal Crimson exterior, plain ol black interior.

Not sure what I will do at this point. I didn't really imagine a half year wait from when I first ordered.
That is ridiculous. I would contact Ford directly and see why your order is taking so long to receive it. When there are orders that were ordered after yours and they are receiving theirs way before yours.

I'm over it and defeated. I asked them to cancel the order today.

I got my information from the dealer. This is what they gave me.
Does your COTUS results page show the same order number that the dealer originally gave you? If so I'm wondering if you can search by that order number now and get the correct car.

I ask because I entered my information and it showed a truck order like yours was. It's way too early for mine to have information in there yet but I was trying to see if I could tell if I had the dealer code correct because it was cut off on the order copy.

Mine still comes up as the truck. But I'm happy I can now track it! :)

Does the order number on your COTUS page match the number that brings up the truck?

If so, wow. That's broke.

Are people actually seeing dates on COTUS. Mine is like worthless. It only tells what I ordered and that it is in processing.
Mine popped up a date last Saturday. I ordered on Aug 25th, priority code 1, and it says estimated delivery is 1/28/2018 but with a subscript "3", which says, "3Estimated Delivery date is a calculated date based on the current status of your vehicle which is compared against the history of vehicles in that status from the scheduling system. It is recalculated each time you access the customer order status website and will change as your order is processed, your vehicle is assembled and shipped."

Unlike everyone else here I ordered an ecoboost premium (but pretty generic), 201A, shaker pro, and safe and smart pkg.

I thought code 01 meant it jummps to front, but if it shows 1/28 as delivery date, then either EB's are put behind GT productions, or priority code 01 really does not mean anything.

It'll still come in... At least that's what my dealer said when I called to cancel it. Did you put a deposit down? I put $1000 down.

Mine showed up on Cotus on 10/19 when my VIN was issued. Checked with my dealer today and vehicle status report shows a build date of 12/4. My window sticker should appear on 11/27.

From everyone's replies, it looks like the quickest Time from order date to showing up on Cotus was about 2 weeks. Many more were much longer timeframes but they all seem to be cars ordered in the summer before production ramp up for '18s.

Any idea how long it takes to get on Cotus? I ordered on 10/30...still nothing. I am hoping to see it on Cotus by Thanksgiving...hoping

That seems like a pretty good guess. Make sure your dealer uses unique order numbers for each order. You’ve probably seen posts where guys discovered that their dealer used the same order number for multiple orders. If your order number is unique, Cotus will give you your VIN when it’s issued, and subsequent order status updates. If your number isn’t unique, you’ll have to get the VIN from your dealer to use on Cotus for updates. (Your dealer has a pretty good idea of when he expects the VIN to be issued.) I’ve been told that Ford updates their scheduling system on Thursday nights so I’d recommend that you check Cotus at least every Friday to see if your order shows up. Good luck!

Like my order number was used for a truck. I had to go by after I threatened to cancel my order and they had my VIN waiting for me. So sometimes you have to be able to stand up for yourself. He even talked to me the Friday before saying no movement (27th). And I went in on the 28th. And they had a VIN and told me when to expect it. And even a build date.

It looks like I've been caught by this. I'm not sure why on earth an order system would create duplicate order numbers for the same dealer just weeks apart, but that seems to be the case. My order number comes back to an F150 ordered on 10/25.

It looks like COTUS wants to distinguish those duplicate order numbers using the last name field. But as of right now the search doesn't care what you put in for last name. I'm guessing that they were having too much trouble with people not knowing exactly what was put in for that field so they've just disabled it in the query.

Here's an idea, Ford. When there are duplicates why not return a list and let us select the correct one?

I guess I'll wait a couple of weeks and then ask my dealer to check for a VIN. :frusty:
