Good luck with the Chrysler, according to most reliability sites, Chrysler is in a last place tie with Range Rover. Lemon aid guide is full of not recommended Chrysler.

This would make for interesting warranty work.Take it in for warranty...why are people so scared about doing this? My car is rock solid into 3 digits and has been since day 1. Don't accept it as "what the car is". It's got something not quite right and not design intent. Go get it fixed...
it was a 2007 Tundra 5.7 V8 4x4 with a 4.30 rear end, first year for the BIG tundras. when it worked, it towed and hauled like nobody's business. I bought it because my previous 4 runner and Tacoma were pretty near perfect and I needed a full size truck. New off the dealer lot so not a beat up used one. First thing to go within a year or so, the transfer case just quit doing any thing, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere, I swear I heard banjo music too. Got that fixed, then the front passenger side half shaft pretty much disengaged it self from the front differential. got that fixed. then a year or so later, driver side door rattled. took off the door card and the intrusion bar (the beam that is supposed to help in side impact) was no longer welded on in the leading edge of the door frame. Then there were various window seal leaks that started around the time the plastic front grill chrome started cracking and peeling. that was 5 years in on a truck that was garage kept. I had to stick it out with that truck just so I wouldn't lose my shirt in a trade in. So finally in 2014 at 65,000 miles, I thought I could trade it in and do ok. on the way to the dealer, a kid in an s10 crossed the mid line, hit me head on. no one was injured and luckily it totaled my truck. Surprisingly and unbelievably, I got more than I paid for it new due to the ridiculous increase in Tundra prices. I've been in a ram 2500 6.4 4x4 since then. a few squeaks and rattles but pulls like a freight train and so far more dependable than my tundra. BTW, wife has a 2015 Tacoma currently. been decent so far.I can understand the frustration with customer service aspect. Good luck with dodge. Hopefully should the need arise you get better CS.
For the record I'm not a fan boy. This is my first mustang and second ever Ford out of12 or so vehicle. Mostly always had gm trucks or Tahoe.
Out of curiosity what issues with tundra? I know certain years had common issue with an air pump or something crapping out? Mine was a 15 and was flawless for 2 years and 45k miles. Though there definitely were people i saw posting who had issues.
If you are one of the lucky ones who has a great dealer service department, then this is my question too. but if it's been anything like my dealings with warrantee issues, it's not fear, it's frustration. it's not just ford either, its imports and other US makes. I used to take my vehicles in for issues I thought should be rectified under warrantee only to be treated like I was a ungrateful whiner. Things like a leather wrapped steering wheel unwrapping itself on a new car, not little minor things. ultimately it takes serious arguing just to convince the service manager it indeed is a warrantee issue. if not, you drive around the rest of the day going dealer to dealer doing the same thing.Take it in for warranty...why are people so scared about doing this? He did say from 80-100. There are plenty of reasons why that should be appropriate for warranty work. This would make for interesting warranty work.
"um, yeah. When my car hits triple digits, it's not rock solid. If the dealership can get that fixed, that would be great".
dealership: "we have good news and bad news. Bad news is we were unable to determine why the car is not rock solid from 80-100. The good news is the car is rock solid from 100-130.He did say from 80-100. There are plenty of reasons why that should be appropriate for warranty work.

Damn! That's quite the story haha. "Glad" so to speak it got totaled on way to dealer. I was dead set on buying used truck when i was looking but damn trucks are expensive now. Used 14 was like 1500 or 2000 less than new at dealer i ended up at. Said screw it and bought new after searching within 500 miles of San Antonio and not finding anything at good price and decent miles.it was a 2007 Tundra 5.7 V8 4x4 with a 4.30 rear end, first year for the BIG tundras. when it worked, it towed and hauled like nobody's business. Unless the car has a cel or you mandate the foreman rides with you and don't let him out until he confesses there is a problem, Ford dealerships love to come back with " normal characteristics for this platform bs". I took my completely stock car up to 92 mph and it scared the shit out of me. 3 road force balances three different shops ( I paid for) later and still persists. My car has 16,500 mles. Rode smooth as day for the first 3000. Oh and I have taken it to two other dealers....guess what they said? Like I said CEL or it's trucked in.Take it in for warranty...why are people so scared about doing this? My car is rock solid into 3 digits and has been since day 1. Your car has original tires or new tires ?... 3 road force balances three different shops ( I paid for) later and still persists. My car has 16,500 mles. Rode smooth as day for the first 3000. Oh and I have taken it to two other dealers....guess what they said? Like I said CEL or it's trucked in.
