I'm worried about Android Auto working properly. It would be nice if that Bluetooth disconnect bug was gone though.
AA works 100% for me, what issues are you referring to????

AA being laggy from what I've heard. I'll give it a few more days, then update if it's still running smooth for everyone.

Reminder of the week: If you haven't updated don't. If you have, you're on your own getting anything fixed regarding any issues that may be contained in this software. This ends your public service announcement. :)
In that case Ford could do a better job securing their code base. Maybe pass that along to their data protection or risk management team.

This might be a dumb question, but if I haven't updated at all yet do I need to change my USB module with 3.0 as well for carplay? It didn't specifically say that so I wanted to check. Also, whats the verdict? Is 3.0 safe? My car currently doesn't have a nav option (that I know of, bought used 2016 with fullscreen size) but would downloading the nav option give me access to onscreen nav (other than via carplay)? I know this might be a dumb question as well but figured it was worth asking.

Yes the USB port will still be necessary. There no way a software update can make a hardware change.

The Nav update will not install on a non-nav system.
