Apple CarPlay Nav issue

CarPlay users: anyone having issues with GPS locking to your true current location? Mine is off by a couple of miles every time I connect the phone. And it goes south instead of north.

I’ve tried everything like a reset and everything even tried different phones

CarPlay doesn't use the phone GPS, it uses the car - make sure your sync 3 has the correct ABD

Are you using built-in navigation or an app on the phone?

Car didn’t come with built it in nav. Just sync 3 with apple CarPlay.

Issue occurs in Waze, Apple, and google maps. Also tried another maps app and it shows the wrong location.

Do navigation apps work fine when you aren't connected to CarPlay? Do you have the latest version of Sync? A few things I would try on your phone if you haven't done so already are resetting network settings and reset location and privacy. You can also try turning off LTE, try navigation apps on CarPlay, and then turn LTE back on (seen that work before).
