Ive not been keping up with the thread, BUT: Isn’t the firmware we are using a Lincoln firmware package? If so, yeah, I would think the ford sync account may have a problem accepting that.
I believe it was for the leaked version but now i no longer think that is the case now that Ford finally released the official version.

When did Ford release the official version? All I can find online from Ford refers to version 2.2.

I believe Ford released V2.2 a few months ago. You should be able to go to your Ford owner account and download it there. There is a new leaked version for V3.0 but I don't think anyone knows yet when Ford will officially release it.

OK. I thought you were saying there was an "official" release of V3.0.

Ok, I need help. I updated my 2016 Ford Mustang w/ Navi. It was working for the past 6-8 months with no issues. The past month it has been missing up. Freezing up consistently, not connecting to my mobile device. I did a master reset but with no luck. Any suggestions? I tried going back through the posts but I can't look through 200+ pages.

I used to have issues with my pixel xl disconnecting from the car bluetooth. Since this 3.0 update that is no longer an issue. Also, the UI seems to be more fluid.

The only issue I have though is that I keep getting a message every time I start the car on whether I want to connect to any networks.
Where did you get the 3.0 update from?

Seems updating may be a little risky based on reviews here.

If it's acting up even after a master reset then I'm sorry to say but it's most likely a hardware issue - system memory failing etc. Fortunately this is covered by the warranty.

Reminder of the week: If you haven't updated don't. If you have, you're on your own getting anything fixed regarding any issues that may be contained in this software. This ends your public service announcement. :)
