Op I noticed the exact same thing on my 500 mile brand new exhaust only car once I got tuned. Only happend cold after pulling out of my driveway and at like 15% throttle. Let the car warm up a bit more before driving away and see if it cures it...

I don't seem to notice it anytime after like you said, cold start at about 1/4 throttle. I checked clearances on my catback and seems to be clearing. Guess I need to double check clamps and make sure they're all tight.

Well see what's weird is mine ONLY does this after it's sat for a period of time, such as overnight. Maybe that crap get's stirred up first thing then dissipates enough to not cause it?

I have had better luck here out of Kroger 93, than anything. Lol.

I had a great conversation with someone in the oil business once. He said that gas is really produced by one of 3 companies. The gas is then purchased by the retailer and they add whatever detergents etc. they need.

In his opinion, the age of the gas station, and how often they turn over their tanks is just as important as the brand.

This has proven true in my experience as well.

Sounds about right. I wonder if the station I got fuel at being completely out of 87 and 91, offered only 93, so people bought it and maybe I got bottom of the tank 93, who knows.

Couldn't hurt to run the tank down real low, change your fuel filter then refill.

I ran it down to 1 mile to E yesterday, filled up with 93 ( 11 gal ) then put a whole bottle of Octanium in it. Didn't do it this morning. May change out the fuel filter next.
