So I just bought my 16’ GT used and it came with a few mods, one of them being lowering springs. I’m the third owner and the springs were put on by the first owner and the second owner downer know what kind they are. I’m trying to figure out what they are. I measured from the ground to the highest part of the wheels well and came up with these numbers. 27.25” front and 27.5” rear. Who wants to measure they’re setup and throw your numbers up here so I can try to find a match? Thanks in advance.

Take a picture of them. It's very difficult to know based on just that.

The color is a big clue. OEM springs are black, Steeda springs are blue, and BMR springs are red. My 2016 GT measures 28" front and 27 7/8" rear on stock springs and 235-50 18 tires. I have had Steeda Progressives on the car and it measured 27" front & rear. I also had BMR SP089/SP082 springs on the car and it measured 27 1/4" front & rear. The ride height can very from car to car and also the tire size will play into this measurement. So what you is probably within spec for what ever spring you have. Here is chart with most of the springs available for the S550 Mustang with the amount of drop for each spring both front and rear https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...d-W1tL2arQSOM9Bd-TagA8py64/edit#gid=188571511

Eibach are also red, Ford Racing are blue, and Swift are also black. More than just the color is needed. Pics.

Fender height from the ground can vary car to car and also depends on tire diameter, along with the springs.

I had the car up on jack stands and took the front wheels off to do a grille upgrade so I snapped some pics of the springs. Here’s the pics of the from springs. Black with no marking or logos that I could find. Just for the record, the seller wasn’t the one they told me it was lowered, it was some comments to my posts on a Facebook page. So here’s the pics. Would y’all agree that those are factory springs?
