I figured a stock gearing auto would be the most likely to blow. Had a rental and it wants to maintain 1750rpm all day. Mine rarely goes below 2k and only when im grandma rodding
I would doubt that to be the case. When you're at low RPM and punch it, the auto trans will downshift putting it in higher RPM range, rather than a manual in 6th and punching it that we've heard so much about being a big no no.

Anyone know if Tasca is still doing $500 shipped for this? It's about $580 through their website right now after shipping, but I'll wait until Monday and order it over the phone if they're still discounting it.

Ordered for $499.50 today, pretty damn incredible price.

Hey everyone. Would anyone here know a dealer or ASE certified shop in the South Florida area where I could get this tune installed? I called mine and they said they couldnt do it.

For those that are interested I put my car on a prtable Dyno. Please keep in mind that I did one run, the temps were ~90* with high humidity. My car is a 6spd manual. The pull was in 4th gear.

So roughly 20 HP lower than the Lion's dyno with an intercooler. Intercooler upgrades are supposed to be about 20hp, looks about right. What revision is your tune? I thought they corrected that dip?

Is the paperwork to send off for warranty to be downloaded after you register? I don't see it in the package.

No paper work. Just get the email address from the warranty document on line. Email a copy of the purchase receipt and the installation receipt to FP. I got a email back in about two hours saying it was registered.

This graph might not be accurate, I just noticed that torque and hp doesn't cross at 5252 rpm.
They won't if the units for how on the right are different than ft/lbs on the right. This is usually done to fit the graph for an engine that makes alot more of one than the other.

Hey everybody I just got my ecoboost tuned down at the autonation ford in ft lauderdale and wanted to share my experience to possibly help anyone in my area or in general. Tune took almost all day to do (Car got there at 8:30 am and left at 5 pm) but everything warranty related was super easy. Literally ford all has it on file so the warranty is still intact and they took care of that for me. Leaving the dealer I felt underwhelmed by the tune and honestly like I wasted money. I had read mixed reviews of some tunes kicking in right away while others having to wait a little for the computer to adjust. Ran the mustang again tonight and I could noticeably feel a huge difference in the power. Doesn't really lose any power at the top anymore like it did before. Also throttle response is much improved. In 2nd gear it pulls like a freight train. Hoping to get it dyno tested so I can post some numbers on here for you all. Still quite new to tuning so would love some feedback from anyone who got their mustang tuned in terms of how long it took the tune to take effect. Overall just speaking from the first day I can confidently say it is definitely worth it. I was worried that reading so much into the ford tune that my mind would kind of expect the new power and wouldn't be as impressed but I was still caught very much off guard and very pleased when I pushed it tonight. For anyone in the sSouth Florida area check out autonation ford in ft lauderdale, I dealt with Scott and he was actually very great in terms of updates and overall service, definitely recommend. For anyone curious I paid about 350 for the install. I had spoken to the local Steeda shop in the area and they advised me that if I was really that paranoid about keeping the warranty that I should just do it with ford directly and then pointed me to where I went. Im aware that I paid more since I did do it at a ford but honestly I can sleep a lot easier knowing that my paperwork is all under the same roof and there is no third party. Also I have a mishimoto intercooler on my car, for future reference.
