GTBOB could you please take a pic of how they hang? beefcake Is it possible pypes could have sent the wrong part? I dont see how mine could hang so low while others dont?
i honestly don't see how they could have bolted up, if they weren't the right headers,

anything is possible though

Maybe they are headers for the previous gen mustang? Arent their engines almost identical to ours?
I contacted pypes and they say they shouldn't hang lower than stock but dont really know what could be wrong...

I dont see how i could do anything to pull them higher since my driver side header pipes are almost touching the heat shield already:

I think you are supposed to relocate it somehow
I removed the bolt entirely and just swung the bracket up on the a/c line. It's tight and won't go anywhere. Unfortunately, this needs to be done with the header removed.

Here are some pics of the passenger-side. I have about 1 1/8th" clearance between the frame and nearest primary tube . Then 2 1/4" at the collector. I took a pic of the o2 sensors too. I have no fitment issues. "HDR78SK-2" label on the Pypes box.

Thanks for the pictures GTBOB! My clearance in the spot where you measured is similar to yours. Its a little higher up the headers, near the engine bay, thats almost touching. You DO have a lot better clearance where the O2 sensors are. Maybe its because i have the catted version.

Mine seem to be hanging just like yours judging by the pictures but i measured a full inch in mine. My car isnt even lowered that much and i cant get a full fist under the pipe and i have small hands. The scariest part is that the part that is exposed is exactly where the weld is.

beefcake do you know if a muffler shop could maybe heat up the pipe and bend it a little inwards? Some types of stainless steel crack others bend.
My pipe is just waiting to get ripped by a speed bump!

If i knew i was gonna have so many issues i would have gone ARH. Thinking about paying $500 to remove them again makes me feel nauseous lol
