If the sprinkler heads are close to the edge of the yard, maybe she (or you) could replace them with 180s so they only spray the other direction. You might still get a little spray from the wind though.

Go ask her if she's okay with you adjusting the sprinkler heads on that side of the yard--you're still inevitably going to get water on the car if you're close to her yard, but you can maybe reduce it.

Why not park the truck outside? It's not like sitting out on the dry Utah summer is going to cause rust issues.

Because then She'd be watering my antique truck.

Just to clarify, she's not using auto sprinklers, she is doing it manually.

I would just nicely bring it up, over ... and over ... and over until she stops. Eventually she'll get tired of hearing it, and if you're nice she's more likely to try to be accommodating (or I would hope).

Get a good layer of wax on the car, but yeah water spots suck.

Clay bar, sealant/wax, and politely yet firmly ask her to be more mindful.

I would absolutely sit in a garden chair in my drive-way by my car with my own garden hose, waiting. And when she hosed my car I'd nail her with it.

Right.

In.

The.

Face.

Then I'd just whistle and act nonchalant, talking 'bout "sorry I got you wet, I was just washing my car".

So here's my PC answer. Tell her don't appreciate her watering your car and that the next time you see her do it you'll notify police for damage to personal property and take her to small claims court for the cost of detailing your vehicle to remove the water spots.

My non-PC answer is to blast her with your water hose next time she comes out.

Dump a lot of vinegar or weed killer on the other side of their house so that their need to water stays away from your side.

I'm no Sherlock Holmes or anything and I think she's being a real cnt but I see a possible motive.
