Looks like it'll be about a year out then which is cool to expect it next summer (gives me time to pay off debt for it if it's as good as people think). Everything I've seen from people in the tuning world who work closely with ford racing, with roush etc say that it's the new TVS blower on a 5.2 variant making close to if not right at 800hp. I've heard from same people there was a small V8 turbo in the planning stages at the beginning but it wasn't going how they intended. How true any of this is? Not sure. If this person could have gotten close to It and some audio that would help a lot. I'm assuming with it being out and around now in the coming days we will get a video. I wouldn't be surprised if they dress a few cars up the same and send an N/A car out to cruise around to keep people on their toes.

Totally agree. With everything else in their lineup being Eccoboost (turbo) makes no since to supercharge your Halo muscle car! Besides all your competitors are supercharged so be different!

What's the point of releasing this in the older body style? Makes me think they are just recycling parts-bin GT350s.

Why all the outrage at a supercharged motor? I've been driving TTs for about 10 years now and I'm over the lag. The high-revving Voodoo was a breath of fresh air :lol: And a blown motor will retain the linear power. I'm really looking forward to it. Until there is an "affordable" tt with a throttle that can be feathered like an N/A, I'll pass. Maybe I'm the oddball :headbonk:

I'm cool with it being a blower car. If I wanted a TT car I'd just buy a coyote and put a kit in it.
