Ford is probably the only American company doing it right. The only thing the high power track cars are good for is dick stretching online and comparing articles saying "look what this car can do" because 95% of the people buying them will NEVER track them and 3% of that remaining part can't...
I understand a lot of people want that, but it's not happening. There are multiple people who are very "in the know", tuners that work closely with people who develop stuff along side roush, even simple things like support cobra jet with suspension, these groups of people are all saying the same...
If they put a small V8 in it with twins or even a V6 with twins Mercia would lose its mind. Spray paint huffin mad men that can't afford a 2 valve came out of nowhere condemning the new GT because it didn't have a 9.0 V8 with 6 blowers on it.
Looks like it'll be about a year out then which is cool to expect it next summer (gives me time to pay off debt for it if it's as good as people think). Everything I've seen from people in the tuning world who work closely with ford racing, with roush etc say that it's the new TVS blower on a...
Someone who is very deep in the ford world, owns few ford GT's, 350R, very knowledgeable guy that's got the right friends in right places said there will be one Shelby and that's the GT350. The next one coming is a 5.2 CPC with the new TVS 2650 blower on it non DI. When asked how he knew he...
They need to do something for sure. With the 1LE damn near out performing the 350R and Chevy still has the ZL1 and Z28 to come, we are going to look like fools. A packaged SS Camaro is keeping up with a dedicated track inspired model.
So, let me understand correctly...
You bought this product just to make a review and not test for it on your car? Just throw out some fancy terms and shock words to try and deter people from purchasing it? Really doing the community a service.
The new 6th yen Camaro essentially comes with long tube headers from the factory, so ford could easily do the same. What they're saying was its a 5.2 engine but not FPC.
I've seen almost 10 people post on social media (that I know we're at Woodward) and they said the ford racing crew told them there is a 600HP N/A engine coming. Not for crate engine BS, something that will be in cars factory.
There's something coming at least we all know that. Ford obviously has a lot of tricks in the hat still and I think over the next year or two we are going to have a lot of variety that makes everyone happy.
