Would never buy a new car without one again. The first time you try to back out of a parking space between a couple of SUVs, you'll appreciate it's worth.

I'm capable of using my back up cam and using my mirrors and head like we all have for years. I don't like the circles on my bumper either. Just my 2 cents. Saved my money on this one and went with Nav so I don't use data with Project Fi on my phone.

Back up cameras are federally mandated as of MY2018. My 2016 Base GT has sensors and camera, and I don't think you can get a Mustang without them.

Yes, you can get it without sensors. The camera itself is federally required. Sensors are still optional as I built my 2017 without them.

It's nice, but the camera by itself is probably good enough. If anything, I'd like sensors on the front bumper.

Huh.....I didn't know it was an option.

I have them and like them, the sensors aren't even noticeable really and IMO they are worth it..

IMO, when you have camera, the sensors are kinda pointless.
The only time I can see sensors being useful is if the camera gets very dirty.

It's worth it.

Too bad they did not offer front sensors + front cross traffic. Those would be really beneficial with the long hood.

Mine has them and they are very worth it! The camera is nice and a great help but the sensors can help fill in when trying to back out from between SUVs and lifted trucks! The sensors will pick up from the sides which the camera can't see. I would say they are definitely worth it.

X2. I wasn't sure what RSS did until I was backing out of a parking space with a P/U truck on one side blocking my view.....then the chimes started dinging. Definitely a useful option.

The sensors are worth it because their range of vision is wider than the camera. The sensors pick up the pillars in my garage that aren't visible in the camera view, them being off to the side and all.
