Yeah, it was looking at steve's arse all the way to Scotland and thinking "his looks more race car than mine". I couldn't stand for that!
Pretty sure it was Stevec's fault that I have ordered another Mustang too. Listening to that bloody Roush exhaust for a whole week pretty much sold it to me there and then. I think Steve is secretly working for Ford to up their sales. Commission = more mods :ninja:

He made you go to his dealer too... Sketchy ;)!

I wonder if he deals with Black Paint suppliers as he's got me going on gloss black plastics :frusty::lol:

Yeh, and he told me that I was one of the biggest complainers on the interweb!

I told him I like to call it positive criticism.

Tony, matt black? no!! Leave it as it is.

"The shop that colour forgot..."
Quoted 'cos it made me laugh! :D

Anyways, ignorant and outrageous slurs on the best colour for a Mustang aside...

I was having these bad boys fitted along with some front camber bolts:

Michelin Pilot Super Sports (not the new PS4).

Increase over the Vredesteins from 255/35 to 275/35 in the front and from 285/35 to a beast 305/30 in the rear so now my splashguards are somewhat redundant:

Before:

After:

They fill the arches perfectly now.

That was yesterday and a grand lighter! Today was off for an alignment:

All good except for the fact the tech was unable to adjust the rear camber for some reason. Undid the bolts couldn't move the arm...

Anyway, half a mile down the road...

20170420-155351-1.webp

:frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

Fucking poxy width restriction on the 3 o'clock exit from a mini-roundabout, lost sight of the kerbs because I couldn't swing left and come at it straight on, got paranoid about pinching the o/s/r and promptly did that to the n/s/f! GRRRRRRRRRR.

Wasn't going too quick luckily but there's a small chunk out of the tyre along with that roadrash on the rim!

The guys that did the tyres pointed this out (spotting on the caliper and bell) which is apparently caused by my detailer using some sort of acid to clean the wheels rather than a much less harmful non-acidic one and whilst it's not permanent could've easily been avoided. I'd stopped using him anyway but this just confirms my decision.

So all in all, happy with how the car feels, not so happy with a scabby rim (no-one likes a scabby rim).
