I think people want to determine which transmission it was. Even though in this case it probably didn't matter.

I have done the 5 to 3 a couple of time but at lower speeds.

Normally, if you inadvertently down shifted at those RPMs, the engine would have been forced by the rear tires upon clutch release into an over-rev condition and would have blown. Maybe it did, seized, which, in turn caused the trans to blow? Just speculation. Do we know whether the engine still fires?

Yeah true could be... I'm assuming a Track pack since it also has the aluminum strut tower bar although it's hard to tell in the pic if it's the 2016 vs. 2017 FP logo.
My '16 tech has the strut tower brace from the factory. Doesn't really matter if it had coolers or not, downshifting into 3rd at 130mph will cause it to explode either way, just more parts left on the track and a little more oil if it has a cooler, lol.

My '16 tech has the strut tower brace from the factory.
Strut tower braces are different on a '16 tech pack (steel) vs track pack (aluminum). This appears to be a '17 which they are all aluminum and visually different than the steel ones but the tag is also different for '17 where they all say Ford Performance.

^Exactly. That's why I mentioned I was presuming this may be a 2017 model due to the revised FP logo on the top-center of the strut brace.

Being on a 150 MPH straight on the road course, I can assure you all 130 is quite near the top of 4th gear. I remember quite vividly. That and the turd that launched out of me like a cannon on that narrow little patch of track...
The most you will get out of 4th gear is ~138/139 MPH and I experienced that at Sebring in the Fall of 2015.
