HOW TO: Swap PP gauges into standard model

Was working on a walk around but it's more work than most are willing to do for a gauge. I have a separate circuit board to drive the gauge that uses an additional analog oil pressure sensor. You use an adaptor that allows for an additional sending unit at the filter adaptor. That way the stock system is completely unaffected.

So far I have code written that allows me to turn a knob (potentiometer) to drive the gauge needle to a position based on voltage. This simulates what would come out of the analog sensor, a voltage from 0.5-4.5V based on pressure.

I have been on the road a lot for work so never really had time to finish it.

That looks complicated, but keeping it separate from the stock is a cool idea. Self contained system, etc.

Again, I think a lot of us would be willing to buy said system if installation could be made straight forward.

Set the expectation that it doesn't include PP gauges or the trim to simplify.

Question, I havent seen this posted yet but after searching auto parts stores and even 2 dealers I came up with nothing.

I am looking for the metal pins in side the plug. I dont want to cut any of the wires and would just like to put a new pin in with the new wires as part of it to be as factory as possible.

Anyone have a clue on where to get a few of them?

No i have the pigtail for the gauges

The metal pins inside the plug that plugs in to the back of the screen. I dont want to cut any wires to add the pigtail.

I was able to get some part numbers, I just have to figure out which one of these it is and we will be good to go!

These are good Ford part numbers, I called the dealer to check. They just dont know what ones go to that plug.

Hurry up and get this figured out!

I will want to sell either the factory gauges that came in my GT PP or the GT350 gauges I have in an unopened factory box waiting to replace those. The GT350 gauges have lost a little of their appeal for me since (a) no MyColor - didn't know when I bought them but kills plausible deniability, and (b) the oil temp isn't actual in a GT but guestimated.

I would absolutely love to know where this thing is pulling oil pressure data from since it is not getting it from the oil pressure sender that is not installed....
