We might be missing something, i ve been thinking. These guys are smart people, visionaries, they get paid ton of money to design and approve this design. This really can't be right. I m trying to lean on the positive side here, as people mentioned, maybe in person its not that bad. Otherwise, as a design engineer, i m asking all the people who were involved in this so called refresh project to hand in their resignations ASAP, and a public apology. There is still a way out of this, do not calibrate the machines at the factory, use the same sheet metal but update the powertrain and the handling. Leave the looks as it is:thumbsup:

I see the TFT, LCD dash, or whatever it is. I'm just a fan of analog. I have a vehicle with an all digital dash. It is cool and has a lot of options, but I really like the old school real gauges. I don't have time to fool with all of that nonsense while driving anyhow.

This doesn't look nearly as bad. But still odd.

Nope. Still not good below the hood. The headlights literally look like stickers over the old ones or something. They just don't flow... aggrevating.

DID YOU SEE THE DASH!!!??!!? :eyebulge:
Yep, not sure I like it... At all. This thing is going to have to be one hell of a performance upgrade for me to get. I was looking at trading up to this or continuing my search for a gt350. It looks like I'll be leaning towards the 17gt350.

Those hood vents look tacked on, like they should be integrated

If only the tribar DRL's were a bit longer and the line below it was straight it would have looked much better. I still feel the headlight shape from the side looks very similar to a Dodge Charger. But the digital cluster is super cool. I really like the 2015-2017 analog one as well.

This thread is hilarious. I can't stop laughing at all the hate.

Personally, never liked any of the Mustangs. I'm more of a European style fan. Maybe I'm in their target audience with this refresh. I find this front very European. Cutting edge compared to a blob of a current nose. Fitting the rest of the car perfectly.

It looks freaking amazing in photoshopped black and very nice in most other colors. Hate the yellow of course.

It seems like Ford strayed away from trailer park theme styling (I wish Chevy would do the same with Camaro) and is trying to get more sophisticated, but of course time will tell how well it will (or not) resonate with more simple target audience. I bet it will still sell like hot cakes and everyone will love it when they see it in person.

Again, I can't tell how much I love the new styling. Hell, I even registered at this forum just to say this.

To all the other 5 people who love this: hi!
Hi!

And agreed. They are moving away from the redneck hood bulge many on here like. The front lines are smoothing out and it's got the GT350 profile now. I think there is someone who said this is the base lower bumper and it's different on other trims so we'll see. And like others have said, if you don't like the bumper you can change it out.
