This makes me happy. I no longer have any desire to get into an 18. I was reading about all the improvements they were making, nothing is going to make up for that face. Whoever the lead engineer was, needs to be fired. They literally took the best qualities of the original and ruined it. I have to see if theres a way to integrate some of the technology into my 15 like mr and an active exhaust as well as the gauges if they are updated.

My god it's hideous!!! Surely it's a joke no?

I honestly can't believe the design team would have walked away from this thinking "yeah!! good job guys!! nailed it"

Part of me is actually glad, because i will definitely not trade in for an '18 now!!!

Looks like they literally copy and pasted together the front bumper. At least with the 2015-2017 models there is somewhat of a theme going on. People may not agree on the 6th generation design, which I find attractive, but at least there was consistency before the refresh. The aesthetics of the front bumper is a huge turn off.

What is worse is those hood vents will probably be deleted on UK/AUS vehicles as they were not allowed on previous model. Oh and add bigger side mirrors too.

My first thought was: Please be fake.

The rear end looks good but the front end looks soo bad. It looks like a 2015, but with down syndrome. I pray this is some kind of joke. For the record, I liked everything about the 2015 when it was released except for the fog light area. If this is indeed the 2018, I hate the whole front end. I'll wait for tomorrow with the hope that Ford has a trick up their sleeve.

The new front end reminds me a lot of the droopy (and very unattractive) E63 BMW 6 series.

FYI that generation's design team was fired and replaced.

My second thought: Since they didn't spend any money on the design, does this mean that the 2018s will cost less than the 2017s? ;)

But they did spend money. It's like one of those design companies that charge thousands to come up with a new logo and you end up with 3 dots and a line. :headbonk:

Investment tip of the day: buy Roush stock.

They are going to sell a shitload of front bumpers for this thing.

I like it personally, however I have no emotional links to previous mustangs or the current model - the 2018 will be my first Mustang so maybe I am a lil' biased

When did you order yours? I ordered mine last week of December 2016. I don't know what I'm getting.

This thread is hilarious. I can't stop laughing at all the hate.

Personally, never liked any of the Mustangs. I'm more of a European style fan. Maybe I'm in their target audience with this refresh. I find this front very European. Cutting edge compared to a blob of a current nose. Fitting the rest of the car perfectly.

It looks freaking amazing in photoshopped black and very nice in most other colors. Hate the yellow of course.

It seems like Ford strayed away from trailer park theme styling (I wish Chevy would do the same with Camaro) and is trying to get more sophisticated, but of course time will tell how well it will (or not) resonate with more simple target audience. I bet it will still sell like hot cakes and everyone will love it when they see it in person.

Again, I can't tell how much I love the new styling. Hell, I even registered at this forum just to say this.

To all the other 5 people who love this: hi!
