Ford closed down in Australia because it could not compete with the cheaper models being produced overseas.
For example the imported GT Mustang was sold here a lot cheaper than the ugly looking GT Falcon.
We don't have that option here in Australia because of the huge demands.
We currently only get the Ecoboost or the GT Premium 5.0 models & the price of a Premium 5.0 convertible starts from AUD $75,000 Drive Away price.
Ford USA, if the Mustang is truly supposed to be a World car, why do we have to wait so long before we can get our cars here in Australia. (Currently 12 months wait)

I totally agree.
I went to 4 different Ford dealers yesterday & nobody knew anything about the 2018 models.
Here in Australia, the 2017 models haven't even arrived yet.
We currently have at least a 6 months wait for our Mustangs to arrive, it was previously a 13 month wait back in July 2016.

I just saw this picture online of a supposably 2018 Mustang, is this in fact what it will look like or could it just be wishful thinking?
