The question is - what would everybody think if there wasn't 15-17 before - if it was the new model coming after S197. I bet it would be quite a bit different.
How dare you suggest something like critical thinking and evaluation?!

You're trying to add a rational component to an inherently emotional meltdown, you'll be dismissed for sure.

The Mustang was never a muscle car.
Yep so true. A Pony car it is...and it's moving to a world car. Many just can't seem to understand the evolution & where it's going.

Shhhh...you speak logic...that's shunned here.

I'm actually liking it :ford:
From 3/4 view it looks very camaro-esque.

Also nearly every line that was turned up to look aggressive now has a droopy sad look. The lights and lower grille for sure! And I just can't get over the new fog light portion. Well I can safely say, it'll save me money looking for a used 15-17 over buying new!

Good:
1. Headlights now make it look even more pissed off. I like the headlight design alright.

2. Hood looks good. '68 design cues. Cool.

3. Rear end looks nice. I don't mind that spoiler either....but I've got a spoiler delete Performance Pack and therefore, quite possibly may have spoiler envy. haha.

Bad:
Lower half of the front end doesn't flow all that well. Looks like a Lexus/Toyota design engineer joined Team Mustang? Not liking the lower front end at the moment. This design will hopefully grow on me.

I was hoping for a bit more on the 2018 refresh. But the S550 is still selling well. Ford is playing it safe.
...I hope that lower front end looks better in person.

How is anyone waiting for the '18 screwed? You can just go out and buy a '17 if you don't like the refresh. Best of both worlds.

But yes, everyone should wait to see it in person because in person vastly different and colors make a huge difference on any car.
It doesn't look any better in person. Matter of fact, it looks worse because the busy parts catch your eye too much. I personally don't like the angular design, it doesn't fit the car & not meant on a horse, IMO.

Luckily it's trim based.
