How would these instructions sorter if I was just installing the one from a gt pp car that had the oil pressure and vac only?

If swapping a new center gauge cluster into a factory PP vehicle, none of the wiring is needed. The cluster swap will be plug and play. How would these instructions sorter if I was just installing the one from a gt pp car that had the oil pressure and vac only?
Nothing different. All the data the gauge displays comes from the CAN-BUS network. The differences are all internal to the gauge set.Mine is just the premium, the instructions were to hook up the oil pressure and temp guage, wondering what I'd have to tap into for the vacuum guage thats all
Correct. We have been able to activate the oil pressure gauge through a tune but the low oil pressure light comes on since the PCM connector pinout is different between non-PP and PP vehicles. You could attempt to correct the pinout issue but that is more in depth then most want to go.So our saying doing this the oil presssure gauge still won't work?
Same here. Must not be financially feasible, or someone would have done it already.I'm fascinated that an aftermarket group hasn't figured out a solution to this and mass marketed it to us.
The problem lies in the fact that not only would they need to create a gauge cluster, but they would also need to create a dash trim panel. Much cheaper and simpler to sell a gauge adapter for one of the ac vents.Same here. Must not be financially feasible, or someone would have done it already.
That assumes making a complete plug and play solution. You could simply manufacture the wiring harness required, charge a noble premium for it and the R&D, and then force vanity users like us to source the trim and gauge panel. The problem lies in the fact that not only would they need to create a gauge cluster, but they would also need to create a dash trim panel.
