Have almost 6,000 freeway miles on my daily driver. By the time I receive my Whipple it'll probably be closer to 7500 miles. Anyone have a concern for adding a supercharger after this many miles?

After you've installed it then you find out their are turbos that cost the same or less that make more power and torque, that's when its to late!

Installed ny Procharger at 7500. Only thing I regret was not doing it at 13 (that's what it had on it when I picked it up).

I waited until after 10k miles to install FI. That way I know there is nothing major wrong with the engine or drive train before I kiss my warranty bye bye..

Couldn't say it any better than that.
And not to mention, you don't have to take away power from the engine to make power. Turbo's power comes free.

Definitely not too late to install. I'm at 24k miles and about to install a Paxton. At least at this point, anything that would go wrong from a defective factory piece should have already gone wrong. Car still drives just as well as when I drove it off the lot.

Lol! Dead serious. I've never taken a brand new, $40,000 car and completely voided the warranty before it's a year old. IMO, No question is a dumb one if you don't know the answer. I kinda figured, but there's always something you can learn from fellow enthusiasts. Thanks for the input.

Lol! I understand the debate. Glad there's options for our rides. Thanks for the insight.

Which kit are you referring to? I am looking into adding something. Always had PD blowers. So that's all I know.

Are there turbos out there that can be installed by an ASE tech and come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty? I think that's my main purchasing point. If I can modify with some kinda guarantee, I'll be happy. At least you have some peace of mind.

On3 is cheaper. Not sure what else is...

Turbo kits are great, but every single person I know that's installed one has had issues. From fitment issues, to oiling issues, and tuning issues, it never seems to go smoothly.
