Fuck off. There's not a turbo kit out there that is as reliable and trouble free as the blowers available for these cars.
Wow your really pissed, i must have struck a cord with some truth you cant handle. When you get beat by a turbo your gonna say the same thing huh! Well hear this, they're reliable enough to whip your ass consistently. You better wake up and smell your stinky feet, cause in the real world turbos are reliable and make more power per lb of boost then any other power adder, its just a fact! No go home and break a belt!

I have spoken!

Lol! Dead serious. I've never taken a brand new, $40,000 car and completely voided the warranty before it's a year old. IMO, No question is a dumb one if you don't know the answer. I kinda figured, but there's always something you coil sean learn from fellow enthusiasts. Thanks for the input.
Ok well if your talking warrenty thats a whole different debate,i took it as u were saying u was worried about putting a whipple on after 7k miles as in would the engine hold up.If u still have warrenty which sounds like u do,then u will more then likely lose your POWERTRAIN warrenty.I put a procharger on with 3k miles and the car being 2 years old.I accepted my POWERTRAIN warrenty done and i still had 2 more years or 60k miles which ever comes first.Sounds like to me u have more reservations about warrenty more then the motor holding up as their are plenty of threads talking about how well the coyote holds up with boost as long as it is tuned right and has supporting mods.

That's what I said, but I was 30k premature. Broke my oil pump 5k later and paid for and installed a new long block on me. I have really shitty luck:frusty:

Edit: I didn't even learn my lesson installed the SC back on the new motor, but with billet gears this time. Hope I have better luck:eyebulge:

My warranty was shot the second day I had the car. I added long tubes and JLT with a tune. So it was a non issue with me when it came to FI.

every thread where someone asks about a specific power adder, everyone feels the need to chime in on a different power adder.

if you like the whipple, the whipple is a great kit. we do cars with almost no miles, we do cars with lots of miles.

no right or wrong answer there. when you have the $$ thats the right time!

let me know if we can help in any way

I have friends that try the NA route and realize they spend nearly as much as a blower kit and are missing 200 HP.

You can put a blower on anytime. Whipple is capable of 8's on this platform. It has already been done with the 6r80. Get the 10 rib and you will have zero issues.

Seems to be standard issue. People just can't seem to help themselves.

O.P., never too late for a power adder. If your car is mechanically sound a Whipple isn't going to hurt it. Obviously adding F.I. To a car creates more stress on parts so how long it lives and what problems you have depends on how you treat it. I say go for it, you won't regret it. I'm seriously considering a whipple for my 350 in the near future!

Blown 350 will be my next car as soon as the used ones creep down into the 40s.

I think it will make for the perfect car. I'm gonna put the Track Pack trans and coolers in my car first, the whipple will be after that. Hopefully happen by fall.

Great point. My only dilemma now is to figure out which supporting mods to do first. After reading about Roh92cp's OPG failure, I think I'll do Boundary OPG with a TS and maybe ATI Damper. However, a Ford Dealer is doing my Whipple install, so I'll have to see what the labor cost would be to do the latter while they install the Whipple.

I saw your combo price and like it a lot. :clap2: OPG, TS, and ATI damper for just under $1000. I'll probably be ordering in the next few weeks.

Those are good mods to add safety. Since you're CA, Beefcake is right, Whipple is your best choice.

Good luck and enjoy it.
