I'm not affiliated with any vendor to know their parts warranty terms. However, all these after market F/I kits WILL break your factory warranty, including Whipple. So, I'm not sure what the 3/36000 covers, which you should do research on the turbo kits and ask the vendor if they also offer same warranty as Whipple does. Are there turbos out there that can be installed by an ASE tech and come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty? I think that's my main purchasing point. If I can modify with some kinda guarantee, I'll be happy. At least you have some peace of mind.
Recently, some of the Hellcats, have had bad bearings in the S/C from the factory which need to be replaced by dealer. A guy, who had recently changed it's air intake to a Cold Air Intake, had the same bearing problem. He takes his hellcat to a dealer and the dealer blames the bearing failure on the CAI and flags him and voids his S/C warranty, even though it's a known issue by Chrysler. And he had to go through hoops with another dealer to remove the flag and fix his problem.
I pointed this out, because dealers can become real dick sometime and look for all sort of excuses to void your warranty. I've been through hell with Chevy dealers on this.
