im guessing you dont have nav?? if you dont then I know a guy who had the same problem, he had a bad update file where part 2 where all the version info was loaded wasnt installing correctly he can send you his link for the correct one.. TruBlue16 look him up.

Maybe 2 USB connections is the max connections it can have? Didn't use the front anyway because it renders the tray almost useless with something connected their.

It depends on what you use it for. I keep music on one of these and it doesn't interfere with the tray at all. It barely sticks out enough to get a thumb nail on it to remove it.

the file is over 2Gigs, i dunno if its even possible, i send a few big photos and gmail tells me they are too big..lol

as said, it's a large file, it cannot be emailed because of this unfortunately

Ok from my phone I emailed myself the link then opened the email at work computer and downloaded . Curious as to why there are two update files I thought it would just show one.what are you using to unzip the files before saving to the thumb drive?

Very confused as to which way I'm supposed to load these files on the thumb drive. The first page in this post shows two different videos with two different ways. One has you formatting USB flash drive and putting files in root folders which mine doesn't have that option, and the other shows the file to be exctracted on desk top then just the files them selves being dragged into the flash drive to update. Don't know which direction so should go

When you plug the flash drive into the computer(assuming your on a PC) go to File Explorer and look for the flash drive(should be G: or something similar)If you right click on it there should be a format option, click on that and choose FAT32 and quick format. Once you do that, copy the update files only(no folders) onto the drive.

If email are tanking (2GB is pretty large for an attachment), just use a free cloud storage service: DropBox, GoogleDrive, OneDrive ... there' dozens!

re: the ZIP package

There's two ZIPs, it's a zip-in-a-zip

The first one, SYNC3 NAV V1 TO V22.zip, after you UNZIP it will result in the directory structure if the first photo.

Then you'll UNZIP the 2nd archive, UPGRADE FILE.ZIP, and that will result in the file and directory in the second pic.

You want to place autoinstall.lst (file) and SyncMyRide (folder) in the root of the USB stick.

Mine is due to deliver tomorrow, I ordered from Walt Sweeney on the 19th (kind of late), it shipped the 20th, got my first available tracking on the 21st.

My local dealer actually said they could get it for me in a couple of days, but they said that and wound up not being able to get another simple part, so I figured an extra day, and a $10 discount, I'll just use an online source.
