Winter is fast approaching, as is the stress of buying winter tires. I fear any longer on my summer tires, and a crack will emerge. Temps have fallen around the low 30s, with some days cracking into the 20s. I'm desperate to find a solution to my woes.
Unfortunately, all tire places around me won't go square set up on my PP due to liability issues. The BS that comes from that is causing me to go towards an entire new set of wheels/tires specifically for the winter months. Here are some questions I have. Please help!
1. Can I do this by myself? I'm not sure how difficult it is with the TPSM
2. If I go with TireRack, does the tires/wheels come assembled?
3. Can I go with a 245 on these new wheels, and not affect the car's suspension or brakes?
I believe that's all I have to ask. I'll take all other suggestions, or opinions. Thanks so much!
