My buddy just bought some 17x8 front and 17x9 rear american muscle torqthrust style wheels off of a 2004 mustang gt to mount on his 2016 ecoboost non-pp. We both think they should fit since we came across a video from mustang lifestyle where he is running the same 17x9 wheel on the rear in his gt non-pp mustang for drag racing. Anyone think me and my buddy will come across any problems? He's also thinking about running a 245/45/17 on all four corners.

Your buddy will be fine since its a EB, however your PP it will not work.

19s are hard enough, 18s are super limited to high disk barrel wheels and 17s dont exist right now that work for the front.
