I love how these two vendors argue over who's best. But in all honestly there are others also to choose from. Cortex, Vorshlag, Maximum Motorsports. Each company has good parts. Maybe one offeres something better than the other. In the end, let's hope it's all quality and made in the USA.

These 2 vendors likely have the largest, aftermarket Mustang suspension parts and presence for the masses. It's certainly the largest presence on this forum no questions asked. Look how long Steeda has been around and solely dedicated to the Mustang. This is exactly why they get the support and notoriety.

I know. I've been in the mustang trend since I was 15 way back in 1986. I bought my first new mustang in 1990. A brand new 1990 GT, then I bought another brand new 1992 LX 5.0 then a 1985 GT and a 1986 GT. STEEDA was around way before BMR and I know both offer quality parts. But my point is, new or old many vendors offer high quality pieces. I've been doing this for 30 years, I can't remember how many times I bought name brand parts from big name vendors that didn't fit as promised, had quality issues etc. and almost all the time the vendor would blame the oem tolerances. As a EX tool and die journeyman I can tell you that any vendor that says the oem tolerances are the reason why their performance parts don't fit is pure bullshit. I did many jobs for all the big 3 and many other non automotive industries and the tolerances of .00001 are much tighter then that of companies that offer aftermarket performance parts. You can go to any dealership and buy an oem part and it'll bolt right up to your car as long as it hasn't been wrecked. That's not always true with aftermarket suppliers. And when they said it's because of the oem's sloppy tolerances I wanna kick ass.
I see many views. My dad is also a journeyman tool maker and owns both a machine shop and a body shop for over 45 years. I seen it all.

Steeda, BMR, vorshlag, cortex, etc etc etc all make good parts. But it's for the consumer to decide which is best for them. I don't like Pepsi, coke or Dr Pepper. I like Arnold Palmer half & half iced tea lemonade ZERO.

I think we are the same age. My first mustang was an 85.5 SVO that I got in 1990 then a 91 LX 5.0 hatchback. Plus many others after that. I had MM parts on my 01 and 03 Cobras. All great stuff. I've had Steeda parts on my Mustang's since my '91.

I absolutely agree 100%. It is the consumers choice to decide what brand or brands of parts 9s best for their needs and wallet. Just happy we have all the choices we do, especially the ones engineered and made in the US.

Exactly and to me its only damaging to a company reading the crap they sling. Turns me off from them. Fan boys drink the cool aide and regurgitate the same crap. Half of them only got what they got because someone else told them to, not because they did the research or tried trial and error.

You point is dead on, we have choices and we like what we like. If someone asks my advice I will give them my real life experience, not fan boy responses. I like running what I think is the best part for whatever I'm doing. I do my research and sometimes change parts more than once to get what I was looking for. I don't mind running parts from multiple companies, in fact I welcome it. What works for one may not necessarily do the same for someone else.

Bought my first mustang in 1985 at 14 years old which was a 1967 coupe then 1972, 1976, 1983, 1988, another 1988, another 1988, 1989, 1990, 1996, 2002, 2005, 2015 and now 2017. Steeda has been there for me since I discovered the fox bodies and have been a part of my mustang DNA ever since. A company with some of the alleged issues would not have survived let alone be probably the biggest brand in mustang aftermarket world. Yes, sure, there have been growing pains but how a company deals with them and learns from them also defines them. Every company I've bought parts from has had this very same issue lets not kid ourselves.

I am not offended in any way what parts people put on their cars I just would like to see the same respect, especially from the vendors.

I used BMR CB005 lockout, with American Muscle Adjustable Sways, with Steeda Proaction shocks and ultra lite linear springs(shocks/springs yet to be installed). Im currently in the process of adding Powerstop z26 Brake setup Pics to follow as a new post.
