I started this thread and here's what I have finally decided to do - which hopefully works out. I will have coilovers eventually so I may upsize tire then with the added space, but I acquired Rays Gram Lights 19x10.5x35 square and I plan to run 285/35-19 Bridgestone RE-11 or RE-71R or, if I cheap out, Firestone Indy 500. Might do the Indy's first until I advance a class where fellow drivers are more closely equipped to my car.

How you liking them firehawks.
They look nice. Impressive in the rain. They spin easily with the Roush supercharger. At $200 a piece they are a good value. I'll look to buy wider tires with more grip for the rear once I get my suspension upgraded.

I picked up a set of Forgestar 18x10 +42 for a great deal thanks to Black Friday. Saved over 400 dollars on the set. I'll get the tires next (MPSS 285-35-18).

Anyone else wake up in the middle of the night to thoughts of running 19x12 345/30/19 squared?

All the time man lol, its like a little guy on my shoulder that whispers your not happy with your setup, go wider, go lighter, go forged lol. :headbonk:

That's awesome. Would you mind sharing the total cost? I was looking into the same size for track wheels but the offers I found were $200 off for 18" and higher for larger diameters.

Let us know how we can help setting you up for the track, we have many clients that run track and we can provide their feedback to help you narrow down your choices.
I've got my tire selection figured out I believe, just need to figure out what wheels I should/could run. I would like a 19x10 squared with correct offsets for front and rear. Currently I am looking at a set of 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rears for running the 285/35/19 nitto nt01

My choice of MPSS should be a good dual purpose tire to last me a season.

If I run 275/35/20's (Conti Extreme Contact DW) on 20x10's ET42, will the tire look a little stretched and will there be an protection for the rim from the sidewall? Paul you recommended this size for my car since I was bagging it and want to be able to air it out. Are the rear inner fenders designed in such a way that I could run this size on the front and a larger tire on the back (like a 295 or 305) while still airing out? (I don't want to lay in on the rocker panels if that's even possible, but it would be cool to go just above that, lol)
