Speeding Tickets: Who's getting them?

Since I've got my new hot rod I can't seem to control my speed. I find myself constantly driving way above the speed limits everywhere. I know sooner or later I'm gonna get a ticket.

Have you guys been getting a lot of speeding tickets since you got your car?

If you had a '16 base or tech pack car I'd tell you to just drive around in circles in a parking lot until you hit limp mode. That'll keep you out of trouble. But you have a '17 so yeah, you're gonna get fits from the po-po.

I hope not to... I've taken the class the maximum amount for my lifetime so any tickets I get now skyrocket my insurance! That tends to keep my right foot under control a little bit better.

Take it to the track. You tend to slow down and drive safer on the street once you've had that experience.

I used to be fortunate enough to have a chp sticker for my DL, but it recently expired and I have a new license. I have to speak with some friends about getting a new one. Ultimately, I don't find myself hot rodding this car as much as I have done with past and lesser mustangs.

The Mustang is an attractive car for cops to pull over. I was pretty arrogant about my speeding in my Audi Wagon until I got an 01 Corvette and immediately caught a ticket for 75 in a 70. I'd never been pulled over for such a small ticket until I realized it was all about wanting to see a Vette on the side of the road. After that encounter I got a quality radar detector and make sure I've got a rabbit running ahead of me.

Waze is basically useless in my area. We just don't have the population density to have enough users around at any given time to log the speed traps. I drove through Cleveland once with Waze on and it was awesome. We were logging everything..lol

Still trying to figure out how to avoid getting speeding tickets. Haven't received one yet but I know they are coming. The problem in itself is the fact that it feels like you are going 20mph slower than you actually are.
