Just got another big batch of ATI balancers in, and thought we would offer a package for the guys wanting to solidify the bottom of the engine.

Combine ATI standard, or o/d balancer, or MMR balancer,

TSS, MMR, or Boundary OPGS,

TSS, or MMR Sprocket,

and for the guys doing the o/d balancer, a smaller water pump pulley option.

mix and match any combo.

Looking to pick this up for my NA build this fall. What are everyone's thoughts on the TSS crankshaft sprocket versus MMR?

Beef, what is the part number of the ATI balancer? I'm trying to decide between 918047 and 918047A. Thanks for the help!

I have the mmr sprocket as it was all that was available at the time. I have beat the piss out of this thing regularly and it's fine. It's a whipple car so I bounce it off the limiter more than I should on the street. That being said I would have gone with tss if I had that option at the time.

And your part number question I think the A stands for aluminum hub. I run the steel 918047 and I think that's the most popular.

both are great brands,

as far as the ati, we only use the 918047

If you don't mind me asking, why would your preference be for the TSS gear? I'm not very familiar with the brand, but I vaguely recall someone else say they would go with them over MMR, but they gave no reason why.

There have been stories over the years about mmr engine builds on other forums that did not appear to end favorably for the customer. With engine builds its easy for the engine builder to blame the tuner and for the tuner to blame the engine builder Etc. I know there are two sides to every story but that kind of deal leaves a question mark in my mind when it happens more than once. That being said all the parts I received from them have been fine and worked exactly as advertised.

PM a quote for just the smaller water pump pulley?

Soooo, if the WP pulley is smaller, that means it turns more rpms vs a stock WP pulley at the same engine speed. Correct?

Trying to wrap my head around everything that I need. I don't ever plan on going FI, but I will eventually do cams, long tubes, and IM. Looking at the TSS OPG and the ATI damper. Will I also need the crank sprocket as well with that type of build?
