What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

H-pipe on with stock mufflers,no drone,maybe a tad more responsive,no real sound difference so now I want to get ride of that throttle lag when you put it down hard to the floor,not a fan of head whiplash and then I think I'll do Gibson axle back mufflers after I get the max or commander to get ried of that lag.
It runs nicer now with CAI,H-pipe,MPT tune but can be better.

Took it to the 1/8th track friday and absolutely bombed every run (3) lol... but it's all practice and fun so no hurt feelings.

Getting my coilovers installed tomorrow, can't wait.

I also pulled the decklid and plastidipped it white to see how I liked it (didn't take pictures). Decided that's the route i'm going. Looks good with the dark tails. Removed the badge and going to fill the holes with bondo and sand it back down and then just get it wrapped with vinyl. cheap and easy. People are smoking crack for the price of decklids now. Guy on FB was selling them for 350 shipped. People on ebay trying to sell them upwards to 500$... doesn't make sense. I personally wouldn't pay more than 100$ for one.

I'll post pictures up once I finish with it.

Ya. I actually read up on ABS plastic earlier and saw that Bondo wasn't a good choice. I'm gonna use black ABS cement and some ABS shavings using a piece of ABS pipe fitting I found there.. Picked the stuff up at Lowes on lunch.

FYI....
If you take those ABS shavings and place them in acetone it will melt the plastic and make it into a putty that can be spread..

I'm sure we all have a few take off parts that are cluttering up the garage and wondering what the hell to do with them. Made some use of the extra gear shift knobs that I had sitting around the garage. As pictured, used them as cabinet knobs in the garage. Now, what the hell to with the rest of the stuff?

Ya. That's also what the abs glue does but it helps thicken it a little.

Yesterday I tried some hydro-dipping for the first time. I think it came out pretty good. Though I found a couple small spots that make me want to sand everything down, respray the base and re-dip, now that I have it under my belt and know how to avoid the errors. I am going to get a larger tote to fill with water so I can do the center section of my engine cover in a few days. I'm also going to dip my coolant reservoir, sand and to the JLT intake as well.

SOB this is exactly what I was trying to get done to mine. Looks bad ass man.

Cleaned my glove box and stuck the reg and insurance card in a plastic thingy and stuck it in the center console.

Looks great. My good friend does it as a side business. He does less car stuff and more horse riding stuff (surprisingly they do pretty good). This is his Evo. The manifold is also the purple/hydro that's on the test pipe. I think I am just going to be cliche and get all my engine compartment carbon dipped. His carbon comes out looking real. I removed the top engine cover. I hate it on these. I am going to do the coil covers though.

It is very easy to do guys... Like very easy. www.hydrodip.com is where I bought the sheets and the activator spray. Then all you need is a tote and water. Watch a youtube vid on how to do it and you will be a pro. Heck, let me get a few more projects under my belt and I will do it for you all for a very cheap price. Like just enough to buy a couple cases of beer for myself.

Is there no clear coating required afterwards? Like it's seriously just completed when it dries?
