Don't worry about it.... you need to be over 65 and balding to own that car.
lmao, I hope to run a stock one and see the look on their face.

Nothing stopping you from using that blower on a S550. (actually the S550's Stage 2 intercooler is even better then whats in this C7)

But the difference comes from the cam design in this motor, and that its 6.2L, and forged from the factory. ;)
I just noticed team beefcake has an option for the F-1R in his stage 2 special kit. So much want

So what did that Z do in the 1/4??
Currently holds EVERY single record for C7Z

1/8th mile
1/4 mile

and

1/2 mile

So ya, those records are all done with it at the 900Hp level, and still on the stock trans... driven to and from the track.

Do the F1D cases fit the stage II bracket? Also, with such a high blower gear ratio, can any pulleys fit that wouldn't overspeed the head unit?

The 4.88 pulley is the last that will fit with the hood liner.
The 5.00 I believe "can" possibly fit, if the lips are machined off and the liner is removed.

Its up the the tuner/builder to know if the boost level for those blowers will work with the combo, and engine rpm that is targeted.

My opinion, run the correct blower for the intended HP range.
(Slowing to big of a blower down, isn't really idea for many reasons)

Iirc its fastest stock engine time is slower then the s197 coyote by quite a damn bit and still slower then the s550 stock engine record too. They can keep their engine. The fastest ones are swaping back to the c6z engine anyway. Direct injection is limiting them. Also iirc all the c7s over 1000whp are spraying because the fuel system cant supply enough fuel.

Local shop had a PC'd Stingray and owner commented on how they're limited by the DI.

There isnt a high pressure pump that can support these 1000+whp builds with boost only, they need spray. Unless they have recently come out with a pump that im unaware of. My buddy hates his c7z. He refuses to swap back to a previous engine on a brand new car. I tried to tell him to avoid direct injection cars. im unimpressed with the c7z end potential.

But it is the way of the future and we will all be subject to it. However, thank god we have a robust after market community that will come through.

Until everyone goes the way toyota is doing it, it can get lost, in my opinion. I deal with direct injection cars for a living. Its trash. It may be the future but it surely isnt better for single digit cars. I will avoid it until its perfected for stock/dd type cars (toyota is the closest) and after market fuel system support.

Its a VETTE, with stock suspension, stock trans, stock engine.
And factory sized tires with Toyos lol.
Driven 4 hours to the track and home

This isn't some car with suspension mods, and slicks. LOL.

Its the dudes daily driver. :)

Not hating either way, just saying, its impressive for what it is.
