I was wondering if anyone had tried this combo yet, and if it doesn't require the 'tune required' version of the intake.

You might want to contact UPR Products to get their opinion. It looks like their rep goes by "UPRSteve" on this forum.

I'm also keen to hear people's opinions about this combo (dare I say some dyno runs would be awsome, but I'm not the one who has to pay for them so easy for me to say:cheers:)

Does the PP1 bump the rev limit to 7500? I've heard that it might, but never saw that feature listed officially.

I think I would rather have an aftermarket tune that might be more aggressive than the Ford one. Most people will go with Ford for warranty reasons but if you're using a PMAS with a Ford package you can forget that warranty.

PMAS doesn't require a tune, so if you put the factory airbox back in there's no way for them to really prove it was ever in there.

I'd like to be able to rev a little higher with the 3.73 gears, but 200rpm doesn't do it for me.

You can use the PP1 from Ford Performance with the No Tune PMAS with no issues. The No Tune PMAS works with ALL calibrations intended for the stock air box.
Will there be gains from both the PP1 and the PMAS intake? In other words, will I notice a measurable difference by having both installed as opposed to just the tune or intake by itself? I imagine it's not as simple as just adding up the HP and torque gains, but has anyone done any testing with this combo?

I'd love to see a dyno from this. Heck, I'd like to see a stand alone dyno of PP1...
