So I found a local member who is trading in his 2015 Mustang and is pulling his ProCharger HO kit off.

Pretty awesome deal for me since its in great condition and he is also installing it (he is a mechanic). I know I need to order some ProCharger Oil (might as well since it will be off the car) and Ford coolant.

The only issue is he has the SCT Tuner but the tune he has is locked to his car's VIN. I know Beefcake has a LUND tune for $600.00 I can buy. Is this my only option?

Down the line I fully intend to have a local shop DYNO tune for me, but I obviously want something where I can at least start and drive the car post the install.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'd call Procharger and ask them for a base tune... their tune is very good.

You can get a non-dyno remote tune from Lund for a lot less than $600. I'm in the process of street tuning mine right now and it's running great.

Get with Sai Li , he is in Tampa ... He did mine and it's the best tune I have had so far ... Jason knows him also .. Or you can go to Sam @ Costal , he does a lot of Procharger cars .. Either way is better than them mail order tunes ..

Just go to their site and order an etune. Should be in the $350-400 range for a blower.

As soon as you choose SuperCharger in options list the price goes up to $550.00

Damn.. I figured it was less. I paid for flex fuel plus manifold first NA so the blower add wasn't quite that much.

Yeah I plan on using him for my main tune after I get some other parts and do Dyno tune. But I still need something for day of install to load up so car can be started and driven.

Most tuners will supply a base tune for that purpose. Just contact him.

Spoke to ProCharger and they told me they dont sell or provide any tunes after original sale. Kinda sucks.:shrug:

PM diablomatt on here. I think he can help you out. His base tune was as good as most (common) email tunes after they have made 4 or 5 revisions.

It was good enough to go WOT safely on the base tune. Your results may vary. :D

I had a Diablo for my C7 Corvette, no problem getting on if it can be used to tune for the ProCharger on mustang. How much would you charge?
